CreatIVY has been built by Simon Crone, who has been working in the area of architectural visualisation for 25 years. He has held senior roles at the Buchan Group Melbourne (Australia), where he led the visualisation team for 20 years.
He has built CreatIVY to help other visualisers grow ivy over any 3D mesh through an interactive workflow.
His areas of interest are in 3DMax scripts and plug-ins and Dynamo generative components.
Simon has a Masters in Architecture as well as a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. The Masters’ thesis was on lighting for Australian conditions, where he was a pioneer in building software to reflect Australian daylighting simulation.
